Automotive Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate is passionate about vehicle repair, highly skilled in diagnostics, and able to work efficiently on a variety of makes and models. You will be responsible for identifying and fixing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring vehicles run at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and electrical issues.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and battery replacements.
Conduct multi-point inspections and provide recommendations for repairs.
Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
Replace or repair faulty components, including belts, hoses, filters, and wiring systems.
Work closely with the Service Advisor to provide accurate estimates and updates to customers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Stay up to date with the latest automotive repair techniques and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Licensed Automotive Mechanic (310S) or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a dealership or independent repair shop.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and computerized diagnostic equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
